History and Architecture:

The Foundation stone was laid on 26 August 1886. The first service was held on 12 February 1887 as reported in the Warracknabeal Herald. The Church was constructed of brick in ancient Gothic style with an Elizabethan pitched roof of corrugated iron. The length of the building was 35ft by 22ft. The roof is supported by three massive beams.

The first Parish Hall was built in 1893 94 with bricks made at Boothby's Kiln located near St. Mary's Convent or the motel on the west side of the town.
