History and Architecture:
On 30th November 1916, De Kartzow sold the blocks in the names of five men for 250 pounds, subject to the Provisions of the Methodist Model Deed of New South Wales, as authorized by the Methodist Church Property Acts of
1889 - 1902. evening services first began in September 1921 at the Austinmer Surf Club, continuing until the church services commenced in January 1922.
A Foundation stone reads, " This stone was laid to the Glory of God by Mrs P.N. Slade 3.12.21 Rev W. Danks Minister". The Church was officially opened on 7th January 1922.
