History and Architecture:
The church resolved to build the church hall using voluntary labour where possible. A Foundation Ceremony was held on 2 March 1986. The first services in the new building were held on Christmas Day 1986 with the official opening on Saturday 14 February 1987. The 18 month ministry of Neville Abrahams was followed by three months' ministry by the Reverend Colin Campbell.
During 1993 the building was filled to capacity. A quick solution had to be found and it was decided to extend the building outwardly over the driveway. The builder was Mr Ted Kerr, and the cost was about $350,000.
