A Foundation stone reads, " Our Lady of the Snows, This Church was consecrated by The Most Rev Francis Thomas DD BA DOEC Bishop of Geraldton W.A. on the 1st May 1966 in the presence of The Most Rev Bernard D. Stewart DD LLB Bishop of Sandhurst Rev B.A. Thomas P.P.".
