A Foundation stone on the Church reads, " This stone was laid by Rev J. Matthew M.A. B.D. 18th September 1912. Rev B.T. Buntine Minister". a Foundation stone on the hall next door reads, " To the Glory of God this stone was laid by Miss Sarah Irvin 14th May 1958 Minister Rev Neil Scott B.A. Architect Keith Reid Builders J.W. Napier, E.W. Harrison".
