History and Architecture:

In the Cootamundra Herald 20th December 1905 it reads, "On Sunday last him Lordship the Bishop of Riverina conduced the ceremony of the consecration of St Andrew's Church of England, Coolamon. The ceremony was of a most impressive nature, and was an exemplification of tho most beautiful feature of the Anglican religion. Following the Bishop's example it may be well in the first place to call attention to the edifice itself. The building is of brick and of ample dimensions to accommodate the congregation of this district for many years to come. Nevertheless with view to the future the architect has so designed that a transcept may be added later".

A Foundation stone reads 17 April 1928 by the Bishop of Riverena. Another foundation stone dated 1905 is also attached to the church.
