A Foundation stone reads, "To the Greater Glory of God This stone was laid by Arthur Nutter Bishop of Adelaide 11th May 1929".

The Organ was built by J.E. Dodd & Sons, Gunstar Organ Works in 1966 for the Music Department University of Adelaide. It had 2 manuals, 3 ranks extended, direct electric action. Installed in 1989 at Grange, c.1992 at Semaphore, and c.2005 at Rosewater. Enlarged in 1993 by Leith Jacob and in 1994 by George Stephens. Enlarged in 2004 (third manual) and 2006 by Leith Jacob. Removed to this location, c.2010 Ian Wardle. It has 3 manuals, 17 ranks extended (41 speaking stops), direct electric action. In storage since 2015.
