A Foundation stone reads, " A.M.D.G. This Centenary stone was blessed on 2-11-1975 by Ian Ninth Bishop of Newcastle to commemorate the consecration of this Church 4-11-1875 and the formation of the Parish of Denman 1-1-1876 J.H. West Th L Rector".

Organ:
The organ was built in 1876 by J.W. Walker & Sons of London, as a single manual instrument with only two stops (both of 8ft pitch). Earlier this century, T.C. Edwards added four original stops (+) on exhaust tubular-pneumatic action, the original pipework remaining tracker. Rebuilt in 1979 by Brown & Arkley. It has 1m., 6 sp.st., 2c., tr. & el.pn.
