History and Architecture:
A small wooden structure constructed on a stone base. There is a bell - cote on the iron gabled roof. Services were first conducted in Fingal in October 1876. It was not until 1879 that plans were drawn up for the construction of a permanent building. The Foundation stone was laid in 1881. The first Sunday School was held October 1885 under the guidance of Mr Owen Holder and Mrs Harkness. The original Sunday School had an enrolment of 36, growing to 63 in 1935, reaching a peak of 76 not long after.
