History and Architecture:

In 1887 twelve Caulfield Presbyterians meet in the new Shire Hall to consider providing Presbyterian services for Caulfield and part of Balaclava. The Rev George Faulds conducted the first service in the Court House on 31 October of the same year.

The Foundation stone was laid on 14 August 1915 by A.P. Gardiner Esq.
