History and Architecture:
The church building was purchased from the Anglican Church in 1984 and refurbished for Orthodox worship with the financial assistance of the parishioners. The official opening was blessed by His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos on Sunday 9th May 1999. A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this stone was laid by Deborah Louise Vickery on May 31st 1924. G.A. Chambers Rector EW Flower, Wm Dalton, OG Griffiths, Wardens, GL Symons S.S. Supt. A further Foundation stone is written in Greek and ends in 1999".
