History and Architecture:
The Katamatite church is representative of a remarkable period of architectural experimentation during the postwar years, wherein new materials and technologies provided architects with cheaper means and mechanisms of construction. Designed by Architectural practice Muir and Shepherd.
A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this foundation stone was laid by the Reverend A.E. McKay B.A. B.D. Chairman Goulburn Valley District 8th October 1960".
