History and Architecture:
The Katamatite church is representative of a remarkable period of architectural experimentation during the postwar years, wherein new materials and technologies provided architects with cheaper means and mechanisms of construction. Designed by Architects architectural practice Muir and Shepherd.
A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this foundation stone was laid by the Reverend A.E. McKay B.A. B.D. Chairman Goulburn Valley District 8th October 1960".
