History and Architecture:
The church was built in 1898 for the Catholic Apostolic Church. In 1913, it was purchased by the Church of Christ, which had been active in the Launceston since 1884. A Foundation stone reads, "This stone to commemorate church extension laid by Mrs D Shields 1913".
The building remains a church and now operates as the Bible Salvation Assembly.
