History and Architecture:
A plaque reads, "The Baptist Church This church was built in 1907, from timber provided by the dismantling of the disused local fish cannery. The Reverend Jock Garden was the third minister to serve and arrived in 1909. He gained the rights to operate the Publican's Booth at Maclean Show as a 'Temperance Booth'. The Reverend Garden later became a prominent Member of Parliament".
The Church is now the Salvation Army Shop.
