History and Architecture:
The first St Keiran's stood on a block of land on the higher eastern side of the George and Anzac Streets and was blessed on 16 December 1900. A Foundation stone was laid on 9 August 1970 by his Lordship the Most Reverend Arthur Francis Fox D.D. Bishop of Sale.
The cost was just over $67,000, is large enough to see 500 people and was designed by Architect Mr Alan G Robertson of Carlton.
