A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this stone was laid on 23rd January 1926 by Councillor Arthur A. Thomas Mayor of Essendon J.R. Wilkinson Builder". A further Foundation stone reads, Rev Walter Beckett Minister F.A. Cochlan Secretary Trustees I. R. Wilkinson, R. Coningsby, A. Shirley, A.C. Gunn, C Sweatman, J.A. Todd, H.L. Williams, J.W. Pounder".
The Church is now a Funeral Parlor.
