History and Architecture:
The first Church service conducted in the Morwell area by any demomination took place on Sunday 4 June1848. By 1878 Church of England services were being held monthly at Morwell in various buildings including the Maryvale Ridge State School or private homes.The Foundation stone was laid of 28 March 1958 by Miss E.E. Bridle.
