History and Architecture:
The Foundation stone was laid on 31 July 1937 by the Most Reverend Frederick Waldegrave Head M.C. The Architect was Louis R. Williams and the builder was M.R. Peters.
The first service held in the Church building was on Sunday June 14th 1925.
The current Church was completed and opened on October 8th 1955 and the Christian Education Centre on May 10th 1965 through the extension of the nave and erection of a tall tower with flanking porches, again to the design of Louis R. Williams.
