A plaque on the fence post reads, "A. M. D. G. In loving memory of Jacob Matthews died 4th Aug. 1906 aged 62 years Mary Ann Matthews died 6th Aug. 1932 aged 82 years erected by: their, son J. Matthews. Restored by their descendants 1994".
