History and Architecture:
The Builder was J.W. Bowering and the church was built in three stages. The original church was built in 1883. It was enlarged in 1893, and again in 1899. A plaque on the east wall commemorates the centenary of the Baptist Church in Peterborough ( 1880-1980 ). Inside is an Honour Board of those who served in World War 1. Built of sandstone with a galvansied roof.
Next door is the Assembly Hall and Sunday School.
