History and Architecture:

The Church was completed in 1888 at a cost of £240.

Even though the last of the work on the Church was just completed in time so that the installation of Pastor Fischer and the opening of the church building could be combined. This took place on the Sunday after Trinity, July 8, 1888.

Present were Pastor H. Herlitz, Pr of the Lutheran Synod of Victoria, Pastor Simpfendorfer and Pastor 1 We will allow Pastor Herlitz himself to tell us of the events of tl He writes, "The day is a glorious one; the whole district seems to h on a festive garment. Suddenly turning a corner we see the church a us, situated on a hill cleared of scrub, its dazzling white walls shining sun. On the gable is a cross which shows unto whom the building dedicated. There are rows of small decorated trees, and garlands on the walls and doors.
