History and Architecture:
The first public meeting to purchase land and erect a suitable building for a Church of England in Seville, was held on 18 February 1886 in the home of Mr Wildman. The name St Paul's Wandin had been chosen on 25 June 1886 nly a month after the naming of the township of Seville.
The Dean of Melbourne The Very Reverend H.B. Macartney together with the Priest in charge of St John's Lilydale The Reverend W Jennings conducted the first service.
