A Foundation stone reads, " This Church was blessed and opened by The Most Rev J.P. O'Collins D/D. Bishop of Ballarat on the 24th of November 1968. Rev L. Gallagher P.P.". A Foundation plaque reads " This Church was erected to the memory of all those who gave their lives in the service of their country may they rest in peace".
