History and Architecture:
A Foundation stone reads, " This Foundation stone was laid to the Glory of God and in honour of those of this Parish who served in the two conflicts by Sir Raymond Huish CBE State President RSS & AIF on Saturday 3rd October 1957 - Members of Session, Reg G.W. Taylor Moderator, H.W. Esdale, J.S. Morrison T.G. McMaster, A McGamley, J. Plowes Session Clerk, A.G. Shanks, C.J. K. Wherry, P.W. Wootton, Architecture EV & J.T.J. Whyte".
A second stone reads, " This building was dedicated to the Glory of God by Rt Rev R.M. Park EO Moderator of Presbyterian Church of Queensland on Saturday 29th March 1958. Members of Committee Mrs R.G. Bloomfield, Mrs E Stanford, R. Arbuckle, K.J. Clarckson, L.G. Duthie, P.J. Goldston, G.H. Gray, J.D. Hall, E Stanford, F.P. Weiss, J.T.J. Whyte".
