History and Architecture:
Formerly a Methodist Church it was built in brick and erected in 1866. Of Gothic Revival vernacular tradition, which is a distinctive Methodist design element in the history of nineteenth century architecture.
The gabled end has square pinnacles capped with balls and the buttresses, lancet windows, plinth and gable copings are other features.
The building has corner pinnacles larger than their bases and a stubby square tower reducing in three stages and with round arched openings contrasting with the pointed windows of the nave.
