History and Architecture:

RECORD BEING UPDATED.

Wynnum’s first Presbyterian Church was constructed in 1896 in Chestnut Street. The next church was erected at 238 Bay Terrace and continued to hold services until the 1950s when it was converted for use as a church hall.

In 1907 the Church was divided into 2 parishes. A home mission station was formed at the Wynnum-Manly Centre. A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God, This stone was laid by Rt Rev. R. Bardon BA Moderator-General Presbyterian Church of Australia on the tenth day of November 1951".

The Church was formally known as St Andrews.
