History and Architecture:
A Methodist chapel was first built on the Bayview road site in 1888 and the current brick building was built in 1931.
The new church was to seat 200 including the choir. The estimated cost was £2,000. A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God and for the healing of souls this stone was laid by Mr Thomas Leigh on 18th October 1930 F.V. Pinchen Builder A.S. Eccleston Architect".
