The first church services in the town were held in Pfeiffer House. The first Church was dedicated on the 23rd November 1873 with sixteen foundation members. It was also used as a Lutheran school until 1911. The second Church was built in 1914.
South Brisbane, QLD - St Thomas Anglican (Former)

The 1920-built church, which was later named Callan House, was used as a business premises from the 1980s until two years ago. It was bought by businesswoman and British actress Gabrielle Amies, who converted the building into an office and her private home.
