History and Architecture:

The Church was designed by Clement Clancy in the Romanesque style and built in 1931. It features a distinctive 33 metre high round Celtic tower. A Foundation stone reads, "This stone was blessed and laid by Archbishop Kelly Dec 3rd 1911".
