History and Architecture:
A wall plaque reads, " This building was opened by the Rev E.C. Long on Saturday 26th May 1973. To the Glory of God and as a thank offering for the peace ensured by the sacrifices of those who served and died in World War 1939 - 1945". A further plaque reads, " It is the feeling of this congregation that this building is being built not by might nore by power but by my spirit saith the Lord of Hosts, Zachariah 4 6 Fixed by the Pastor Rev R.G. Hansard 10-9-72".
