History and Architecture:

A plaque in the grounds of the church reads in part, " In 1969 local folk felt the need for a place where they could gather for worship. So this humble building came into being under the umbrella of the Methodist Church. Construction was undertaken by a Biloela carpenter with the assistance of willing volunteers. The cost of the building was $4,417 of which the Ladies Guild contributed $1,200 for the laying of the foundation and floor. It was Officially opened in August 1969. A kitchen area was added in 1987 followed by a Sunday School room in 2002".
