History and Architecture:

Originally situated in Tansey Street, the Church has the distinction of being the first church to be built in the town. The land on which it was built was donated by Michael Tansey, an early Beenleigh settler and businessman.

The church was designed by Queensland Colonial Architect, Francis Drummond Greville Stanley, and built at a cost of £250 by Messrs Wohlen and Ehlers. It was officially opened on 17 September 1875. It was moved to its present site at the Village on 22 June 1981, the first historic building to be moved here. The church was added to the Queensland Heritage Register an 21 October 1992.
