History and Architecture:
Presbyterians in Canberra established a Home Mission Station in 1925. Two years later the Church Hall at Braddon was opened and the Rev. Dr. John Walker inducted. In May 1945 the Canberra Parish was divided into two, St. Andrews and Braddon, and Braddon was given the name St. Columba’s in 1950.
The Foundation stone was laid on 22 April 1961 by Reverend Harold G. Durbin.

The Organ was built in 1965 by Davis & Laurie and is known as the Davis & Laurie 'Chorale' organ. It was dedicated in April 1965. It was enlarged in 1987 by Trevor Bunning. It has 2m., 5 rks. ext., el.pn.
