History and Architecture:
Church was built in 1895; prior to that, Roman Catholic services were conducted at Sutton Forest.
A wall plaque reads, " In grateful recognition of the generous contributions made by the townspeople of Bundanoon towards the building of this Church. Blessed & Opened on 31st March 1895 by Most Rev. Joseph Higgins W Bishop of Maitland. On the occasion of the 120th Anniversary of St. Brigid's Church and in the year of our town's Sesquicentenary...This plaque was Blessed on 6th September 2015 by Most Rev. Peter W. Ingham Bishop of Wollongong".
