History and Architecture:

Submissions welcomed.In 1904, St Paul’s first wooden church was built on the corner of Derby Parade and Salisbury St Caulfield and licensed as St Paul’s Caulfield on the 20th of February. In 1909, the church was put on wheels and moved by horse cart to our present location.

The Vicarage was built in 1912. The parish hall, built in 1920 – 22.

A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this foundation stone of the Parish Church of St Paul Apostle and Martyr built for the worship of God and the teaching of the Catholic faith was laid by Frederick Waldegrave Head Archbishop of Melbourne on December 3rd 1938".

The Organ was built in 1928 Hill Norman & Beard Ltd of London. Installed in new church in 1939 Hill, Norman & Beard (Australia) Pty Ltd.
Rebuilt and resited in 1958 by George Fincham & Sons Pty Ltd (new console). It has 2 manuals, 3 ranks extended, electro-pneumatic action.
