History and Architecture:
A wall plaque reads, " This plaque was dedicated by the Most Reverend Issam John Darwish BSO DD Eparch for the Glory of God and as a remembrance of Archimandrite Silwanos Mansour Archimandrite Sophronos Khoury Archimandrite Nicholas Caba Archimandrite Malatios Chahoud father Alexios Malouf father Joseph Hallit, Archimandrite, Aftimos Haddad priests of the Basilian Chouerite order who at various times served the Melkite Catholic community in Australia from 1891 to 1995 and who have reposed in the Lord. May their memory be eternal.
A Foundation stone reads, " This stone was laid by His Eminence Sir James Cardinal Freeman Archmandrite Aftmos Haddad Pastor on 22nd April 1979".
