Organ:

The introduction of hymns and instrumental music caused much misgiving among members of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Wm. Simpson tried to assist by putting in a Harmonium in 1864. It was tried for three months, after which a vote was taken and the instrument was rejected and removed. The Harmonium was finally received in April, 1865.
