History and Architecture:
The church was built between 1902 and 1904 as a combined effort by volunteers drawn from the Church of England, Catholic, Methodist and Lutheran members of the local community. Each religion was allotted an alternate weekend to use the church to hold its services. This continued until the denomination had built its own separate church building in the district. This building became a community-meeting place, as it was centrally located near the Eight Mile Plains School and the main thoroughfare of Logan Road.
