History and Architecture:

Formerly a Methodist Church established in 1863.

A plaque reads, “ This plaque unveiled by the Moderator The Uniting Church of Australia NSW Synod Mrs Lillian Wells MA DIP ED in the prescence of his Excellency the Governor of N.S.W. Sir Roden cutler, V.C. K.C.M.G. K.C.V.O. C.B.E. to commemorate the restoration of the Methodist church founded in 1863 and the establishment of "Edinglassie" Retirement village. 18th September, 1977. Enter his gates with thanksgwing. Ps. 100:4. Rev. J. M. Gallagher senior minister. Commemorating 150 years 3rd November 2013”.
