Denomination: Anglican
Address: 1317 Wangaratta Kilfeera Road, Greta, Victoria, 3675
Architect: Unknown
Last Updated: 24/02/2023
History and Architecture:
The land on which the church was built was purchased by the Church of England Trust sometime in early 1890, and was gazetted with the lands department on October 6th 1890, the purchase price being twelve pounds.
Little is know about the original building, but one would presume it would have been rather plain and small, a wooden structure with roof of galvanised iron. The church was opened on 6 March 1890. The church is part of the Moyhu Parish. A second church was erected in 1915 after termites destroyed the first church.
The present church was completed in 1954.
