A Foundation stone laid by Mr S. S. Smith, a senior member of the Church reads, " To the Greater Glory of God this foundation stone was laid on Anzac Day 25th April 1923". A Foundation stone on the adjacent Hall reads, " To the Glory of God and in gratefull remembrance of sacrificial service in the second world war 1939 - 1945 this Memorial Hall is erected 21st July 1951".
