A Foundation stone reads, "This foundation stone was set to the Glory of God by Rev A T Newton 17th Aug 1957 A R Lewis MBChM H R A Boyd JP Circuit Stewards".
A plaque reads, "This centre was officially opened and dedicated to the Glory of God on 3rd December 1966 by Rev S John Bowles L Th Dip RE H R A Boyd, A G Towns Circuit Stewards Rev A D Parsons Supt Minister".
