History and Architecture:
The Church is in the Victorian Free classical style, built of yellow brick, stucco and freestone. The side walls are of brown brick divided into bays by plain brick pilasters, and a decorated brick frieze. Each bay has a narrow arched window with a moulded head and string course. The front facade has a stuccoed entablature, with a dentil course, a pediment, and plain parapets at the sides. Below this is a slightly projecting central bay and stone Corinthian columns, piers and pilasters on a stone base. The side windows are arched with moulded surrounds.
