History and Architecture:

Original services were held beside the Erskine river and later transferred to Erskine House in 1879 - 1880. The decision to build a church was made on 19 January 1880. A contract was let to build a church at a cost of £205 on an acre of land donated by Mr Gwynne. The church built there was later moved to  its current site in 1884.
