History and Architecture:
Built between 1869 and 1870 the Church was designed by T.A. Kelly. Of Neo Gothic style.
Constructed of axed bluestone with cement dressings. The first section was built in 1869-70 and the chancel added in 1884 by J.B. Denny. The entrance has Malmsbury stone and is surmounted by a crocketed gable. The building is of the hall church type, incorporating a nave and aisles with cast iron columns, elaborate window tracery, apsidal chancel and a tower which was extended in 1936. The windows include stained glass by Ferguson and Uric.
