A Foundation stone reads, To the Glory of God this Church of St Luke was consecrated by the Most Reverend Loane MA DD Archbishop of Sydney 30th October 1966 Rev Noel ??? ThL
A further Foundation stone reads, " This stone was set by the Most Reverend H.W.K. Mowll CMG DD Archbishop of Sydney & Primate 23 X11 Canon Ernest Cameron 1957 Rector & Rural Dean".

Organ:
The present Organ was built in 1905 by George Fincham & Son an Organ that came from St Philip's Presbyterian Church, Newcastle. It was rebuilt and extended in 2013 by John Parker (3/38 electro-pneumatic). The previous Organ was by J.P. Eagles 1963 (2/13 electro-magnetic).
