History and Architecture:
The fist Church was opened in 1870. Plans and specifications were drawn up for the erection of the second Church by Mr. D.Fiddes of Beechworth, and tenders were invited on 21st May 1887 to be returned to Fr. McCarthy by the 7th June. The Foundation stone was laid on Monday 19th of September by the Coadjutor Bishop of Sandhurst Most Rev Dr Reville OSA.
