History and Architecture:
The church was constructed in 1914 by builder H Trapp on land donated by W Costin. Built of local timber, the church stands on timber strung foundations and is a weatherboard structure with entrance porch and with timber decoration to the gables of both the nave and the porch.
An example of Carpenter Gothic design with three pointed arch windows on the sides of the building and further similar windows to the front wall and porch. The steeply pitched gabled roof is clad with corrugated iron. The Parsonage was built by Les Ralph under S. J. Taylor's supervision. It was designed by P O Barnard. It is distinctive for its massive bay window front and fanlight above, and numerous leadlight windows which, like the stained glass in the tower, were designed by Arthur Benfield.
A wall plaque reads, " To Honour the members of the Armed Forces of the Commonwealth who served in conflicts subsequent to 1914 - 18 War".
