A Foundation stone reads, " To the Glory of God this stone was set by The Lord Archbishop of Sydney The Most Reverend H.W.K. Mowll D.D. on 19th July 1941. Rev F.G. Standen ThL Rector".

The Organ was built by J.W.Walker in 1872 for St Philip's Sunday School, Clarence Street, Sydney for the price of £154., rebuilt by C. Leggo in 1945, and A. Welby in 1973-75 (2/10 mechanical).
