History and Architecture:
A Foundation stone reads, " A.M.D.G. St Michael's and All Angels Church consecrated by Felix Archbishop of Brisbane on Sunday 8th December 1974 K.A. Lashford Rector". A Foundation stone on the Bell tower reads, " A.M.D.G. In memory of the sacrifice of the men and women of the prish of New Farm who gave their lives in two world wars this stone in honour of St Michael and All Angels was set and blessed by Reginald Archbishop of Brisbane on 29th September 1957".
